EPDM rubber sealing strip is a very common type of sealing strip. So how to identify the EPDM adhesive strip?

1. Taste. The secondary rubber strips will have a certain odor, especially pungent. Normal rubber and plastic sealing strips will only have the smell of plastic, and even better quality ones will not smell at all.

2. Appearance. The appearance of the sealing strip is very rough, and the handle is also very hard. There is no tension. On the contrary, the good ones are glossy, soft and tensile.

3. Specific gravity. The secondary sealing strip has a particularly heavy specific gravity, because the filler used in the production is heavy calcium or talc powder, which will increase the specific gravity of the sealing strip, while the good sealing strip will directly use light calcium carbonate as the filling material.
