EPDM sealing strip is a kind of EPDM rubber strip. It is made by microwave vulcanization technology in one time. The surface is clean and beautiful. It has good elasticity and compression deformation resistance, weather aging resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance, fire resistance and wide use temperature range (- 50 ℃ ~ + 150 ℃) and other excellent properties. At present, the sealing strip market generally includes modified PVC, vulcanized EPDM / PP sealing strip and thermoplastic EPDM / PP rubber strip.

1. Modified PVC adhesive strip

Modified PVC rubber strip: the price is relatively low. Due to different quality, low-end products use waste materials, alternative plasticizers and high filling volume, resulting in poor elasticity of rubber strip, easy hardening, pungent smell, easy migration, yellowing of frame material, short service life. Because PVC products contain halogen and stabilizers contain heavy metals, it is not conducive to environmental protection. Therefore, PVC adhesive strips have been eliminated or restricted in developed countries, domestic Beijing and coastal cities.

2. Vulcanized EPDM sealing strip

EPDM vulcanized rubber sealing strip: it is stronger than PVC in sealing elastic durability, but due to the need of microwave vulcanization line finalization, the processing energy consumption is high, usually more than 20 times of PVC processing, the product is not recyclable and environmentally friendly, which is not the product advocated by the state. Therefore, basic enterprises do not use it.

3. Thermoplastic EPDM sealing strip

Thermoplastic EPDM sealing strip is a new material developed on the basis of foreign technology and domestic independent research and development in recent years. It is mainly used for automobile door and window sealing strip, and has been used for building door and window sealing strip in recent years.
